We will be taking part in The Scarecrow Festival as part of Dunton’s Big Weekender 2018, 29th and 30th September 2018, Something to Crow About.
During the weekend you will be able to look for more ‘Crowstones’ painted by Dunton Youth Club and hidden around Dunton. If you find a ‘Crowstone’ please take a picture and post it to Dunton's Big Weekender Facebook page and then re-hide it for someone else to find.
On Saturday and Sunday you will be able to follow the trail of scarecrows in the village. A map will be available on Facebook and for those of you who do not access Facebook hard copies of the ‘scarecrow trail’ will be available at the March Hare.
Also on the Saturday and Sunday there will be the Grin and Beer It 7 beer festival at the March Hare.
If you are hungry on Saturday evening, there will be a Mexican evening at the Pavilion (tickets are required, please contact the DRA).
At the centre of Dunton, Church Street, on Sunday afternoon, there will be a Scarecrow Fest, the Pavilion bar will also be open.
At the Scarecrow Fest activities will include name the scarecrow, scarecrow selfies, scarecrow cake raffle, produce stalls, cakes, Horsebox coffee shop, ice cream and the Bedford Morris Men will be dancing outside the March Hare.
We hope you all enjoy the weekend
