Dunton Community Garden is open to the public from dawn until dusk every day. See our Visit The Garden page for more information.
Dunton Community Garden runs a variety of events throughout the year to bring people together and promote the various benefits of spending time in the community garden. Everyone is welcome to our regular coffee mornings and seasonal events.
The best way to get the latest news on our upcoming events is to like and follow our Facebook page. Upcoming events are also advertised on the website homepage and displayed on the noticeboard at the entrance to the garden.
Dunton Community Garden relies upon volunteers for:
- Gardening duties (including sowing, planting, weeding, watering and harvesting). If you want to do gardening but lack experience, you can learn alongside experienced volunteers.
- Admin
- Supporting at events
If you are interested in volunteering at Dunton Community Garden please visit the Contact Us page or send a message through our Facebook page.
Dunton Community Garden is partly funded by the membership fees of its loyal supporters. These funds contribute towards essential, recurring costs such as insurance, IT and property maintenance (not to mention supplies for the garden!).
Annual membership fees are kept as low as possible:
Individual - £8
Family - £12
Concession (pensioners, students, unemployed or those with diabilities) - £4
Members are kept up to date with news from the garden as well as upcoming activities and events. We don't produce any merchandise for our members, to avoid diverting essential funds from our core work.
If you would like to become a member (or make a one-off donation) to support the educational, environmental and community-based work of the garden, please visit the Contact Us page.
