Visit The Garden

Dunton Community Garden is open to the public every day throughout the year, from dawn until dusk.

The garden is divided into different areas, including a variety of spaces to sit and appreciate the garden environment, in quiet solitude or with others.

Many families visit the garden with their children, who enjoy the freedom to explore the different areas and make discoveries of their own through close contact with a wide range of plants and wildlife.

Dogs on leads are welcome too. To maintain the clean, welcoming and safe environment of the graden we ask that dog oweners clean up any mess and take poo bags away with them; there are several dog waste bins sited around the village.

We also provide a program of activities that includes Saturday coffee mornings and seasonal events. The best way to get the latest news on our upcoming events is to like and follow our Facebook page. Upcoming events are also advertised on the website homepage and displayed on the noticeboard at the entrance to the garden. If you would like more information the visit the Contact Us page.

Access & Parking

There is free parking in the village, on High Street adjacent to the March Hare pub.

Dunton Community Garden is a short walk away up Church Street (just past the March Hare) and through Church Farm. Walk straight through the farm to the concrete yard and look for the polytunnel. Please ensure all gates are closed behind you when entering/exiting the garden.

Alternatively, you can access the garden by parking on High Street and then walking north along High Street/Cambridge Road. Just after you leave the village there is a public footpath on the right (opposite the stables). After about 50 metres, take the right hand turn and follow the track to Dunton Community Garden.
